Lhoosk’uz Dené Nation is inviting individuals who are interested in becoming a Land Guardian and Cultural Field Technician to submit an expression of interest.
This opportunity begins with training to prepare participants for work in the field. The Nation will cover the cost of the required training, and a job opportunity will follow for the successful participant once the training is completed. The training will take place from Oct 5, 2026 – Nov 6, 2026 for 10 individuals who are able to complete the course. This training is available for individuals from all Indigenous Nations, but priority will be given to Lhoosk’uz Dené Nation membership.

The position will support the Nation’s work to monitor, care for, and protect Lhoosk’uz lands, waters, cultural values, and areas of importance. It is an opportunity to build practical skills while contributing directly to the stewardship of the territory.
