Sockeye Salmon Fishery Extended to August 19

The Lhoosk’uz Dené Nation Natural Resources Department advises members that the Sockeye salmon fishery has been extended until August 19, 2026. The previous opening was scheduled for August 6–12. Fishing for Chinook (Spring) salmon using dip nets also remains open until September 22, 2026. Permitted locations for the Chinook fishery
