Lhoosk’uz Dené Nation is inviting members to come together to celebrate sobriety, share stories of resilience, and recognize the strength of our community during National Addictions Awareness Week, November 15–21, 2026.
As part of this year’s awareness week, the Nation is planning a community dinner and dance to honour members on their sobriety journeys and celebrate the positive impact of healing and recovery on our families and future generations.
To help plan the celebration, we are inviting members to share their sobriety date or the number of years they have been sober.
Whether you are celebrating a recent milestone or many years of sobriety, we want to recognize your journey and the strength it represents.
Share Your Sobriety Milestone
Members who would like to participate are encouraged to:
- Email their sobriety date or number of years sober to reception@lhooskuz.com
- Comment on the Nation’s Facebook post with their sobriety milestone.
