Lhoosk’uz Dené Nation will host a series of Childcare Engagement Sessions from April 27–29 in Quesnel and Kluskus, in collaboration with the BC Aboriginal Child Care Society (BCACCS).
These sessions are part of a broader effort to gather community input to inform the development of culturally appropriate, community-driven childcare services.
The Nation is seeking participation from youth, parents, Elders, and all community members.
Community members will have multiple opportunities to engage through targeted sessions, including dedicated times for Elders, youth, parents, and a general community session.
To support participation, snacks and meals will be provided at various sessions. In addition, the Nation will award participation incentives and prize draws for completed surveys and engagement activities.
For members who are unable to attend in person, online survey options are available. To request a survey, contact:
executiveassistant@lhooskuz.com.
Please note that travel and accommodations are not provided.
Further details, including incentives and additional engagement opportunities, will be shared closer to the event.
