Chief Election Meeting Details
The Chief Election Meeting will proceed as scheduled to elect one (1) Chief.
- Date: Thursday, August 27, 2026
- Time: Starting at 5:00 p.m.
- In-Person Location: Quesnel Seniors Centre, 461 Carson Ave., Quesnel, BC
How Voting Works
Eligible voting members (registered members 18 years of age or older on the date of the election) may cast their vote in one of two ways:
- In person: Voting members attending at the Chief Election Meeting will vote by a show of hands.
- Online / Virtual: Voting members can participate by casting their ballot using the secure online voting system at www.onefeather.ca/nations/lhooskuz.

Meeting Agenda & Candidate Speeches
Prior to voting, each candidate on the official list will have up to 10 minutes to introduce themselves, share their vision for the Nation, and speak directly to voting members.
