Kluskus IR 1 is not on Alert or in any immediate danger, this is just a community update regarding the fires in the territory. We will be posting updates as we receive them from BC Wildfire Service and the Fire Centres.
Wildfire update: The Province has been actively communicating via text, email, and/or phone (if requested). There has been tons of rain and hail in the past few days that has helped assist getting the fire under control.
C10467 – Swede Creek – 1,815 hectares
They were unable to find any areas with active flame and yesterday a thermal imaging helicopter was planned to assist in cold-trailing any hot spots.
