Culture
Connecting members of Lhoosk’uz Dené Nation to culture through workshops and events to promote health.
Community

Fitness and Nutrition
The Health Department supports community fitness and nutrition through healthy food initiatives and access to sport for children.
The following are programs accessible through the Lhoosk’uz Dené Nation Health Department
Medical Transportation
Medical Transportation can be very traumatic and stressful. When a member has a confirmed appointment out of town, we will assist with arrangements. It is very important that we receive this confirmation a minimum of 10 working days before travel. Once we have the date confirmed, the Health team will assist with further documentation and travel arrangements as needed.
Sports Registration
The Lhoosk’uz Dené Nation sponsors children participating in sports through registration, purchasing equipment, and travel to events.
Please contact the Health Department with any request for services or questions. Some requests can be approved under special circumstances.
